wearing a lace up wedding dress?
I have DD boobs and I want to wear a lace up wedding dress. Would I be able to wear a lace up corset with it? Or what would I have to do?? So it didnt look tacky
I have a lace up corset in my closet. thats why i am asking
I also have DD boobs & wore a lace up corset back, strapless dress. I ended up not wearing a bra or anything because the dress was so well made I didn't need to wear one.
One bit of advice though ~ when I went in to get measurements for my dress, they had a bra lady there to fit me with a bra. The idea was she would do the "right" bra measurement for me, sell me a bra & then take my measurements for the dress while I was wearing the bra. It sounded okay and I didn't mind spending the money because I thought this would get me the right undergarments to wear with the dress. It ending up being a *huge* mistake though! The lady didn't really carry anything in my size, and sold me this support bra that also covered my stomach (that was the only thing she had for such big boobs) The garment was uncomfortable & had so much fabric.... I ended up not wearing it with my dress after all the money I spent on it.
So, just make sure that when you go in for your fitting, take a strapless bra with you ~ just in case. But really, as everyone has said, a lot of the better dresses have so much support & the lace up backs are so well done that you don't need a bra. Just depends on how it is made.
