why is my face wash burning my face?
i used it about 9 months ago and it worked fine. no burns, red blotches on my skin, or anything. well, i just started using it again, and it is burning my face. my face now hurts when i wash my face, put makeup on, i just touch it, and more. why is this? i use a washcloth when i wash my face, could it be the washcloth like the detergent or what? please help! thank u!
Its more than likely that you are scrubbing to hard with the washcloth. Its not the detergent in the washcloth because your skin isn't burning when you wear clothes(well I hope it isn't!) And if you've used it before with no problem, you should be able to use it now with no problem. Wait until your skin heals and use the face wash without using the washcloth on just a small part of your face and see if it still burns. I stopped using washcloths to wash my face because of that very same reason, I scrubbed to hard and it irritated my face. I hope that helped and good luck!
