What can I do about my fiance who won't respect my apartment?
I technically live alone. No roomates, only my boyfriend who has been staying over nightly for about a month. He has his own place, but complains about his roomates which is why he comes here. i don't mind him staying here, but he isn't respecting my wishes on a lot of things. Hang up your towel, put the seat down, keep the ceiling fans running, close the laptop and put it away, take out the garbage when it's overflowing, replace the roll of toilet paper when it's empty, pick up your clothes, rinse out your dishes. A lot of this stuff is common courtesy. He pays no bills and no rent so therefore i still consider him a guest. I think the least he could do is abide by most of my wishes. I can look the other way if it were only a few things, but now it seems like he's doing it on purpose. Am i being a total b**ch? I get angry when i come home and my houseis a wreck. I've tried to be nice, but that doesn't work and being firm and direct isn't working either. I want to nip this in the bud.

Let him know this simple rule applies at YOUR house/place. If he shows he doesn't care....he can stay with his buddies. I imagine that his apartment/place is also a wreck....
Adults behave like adults. If he's like this NOW...what do you think married life is going to be like THEN...he'll just think :
"We're married! She can't throw me out....screw her."
